Do you know what a microwave can do? It can BOIL WATER.

Microwaves do not add, subtract, or alter flavor. They excite the water molecules which causes them to increase in temperature.

Water heated to boiling temperature via microwave, contrary to popular idiot belief, does not actually have any flavor, texture, or other properties different from water heated to boiling temperature by any other means.

It amuses me how seriously people are genuinely taking an offhand comment from someone who has confessed multiple times they don’t even drink tea.

the only possible scenario where you would use that is a water boiler and we’re talking about like every day household normal run of the mill cup o’ rosie, right?

Point being, I’m lazy, I lack the inspirational effort to heat the water via different method. I understand that yes a microwave fucks with the composition and such, but until I get a heating plate or decide to look for one the microwave will due for my rare tea consumption.
